Begin by connecting your preferred cloud storage provider—either Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive. We utilize official OAuth 2.0 protocols, which means your credentials stay with the provider; we never see or store your passwords. This connection allows Snaps to create a dedicated space for your upcoming event's media.
Give your event a memorable name (like "The Miller Wedding 2026") and select the date. Our system immediately interfaces with your cloud storage to create a dedicated folder. This organization ensures that all photos and videos gathered are kept separate from your personal files, making them easy to find and manage later.
Once your event is ready, you'll receive a custom QR code and a direct upload link. You can download the high-resolution QR code to include on wedding table cards, digital invitations, or printed posters. For virtual events, simply copy and paste the link into your group chat or email blast to start the collection process.
Guests simply scan the QR code with their smartphone camera to open your secure event portal in their mobile browser. There are no apps to download and no accounts to create. They can select multiple photos and videos from their gallery, and they'll be uploaded directly to your cloud folder in full original quality.
